**__mY 1st dAy at Indochine__**
*Before workWoke up at 2.30pm today! Never wake up so late for so long le! On the computer immediately to see wat bus go to the Indochine then i realise that the place i thought i be working is actually not the Indochine at Clarke Quay!! All along i have mixed up! The Indochine outlet is actually at Express Place... though the other one is just opposite the river but is still different ok? Anyway this Indochine at Empress Place is then big!! Is divided into 3 parts: One is the restaurant itself, one is the bar and the other is actually the cafe.. All belongs to Indochine! Anymore info u can check from their website: www.indochine.com.sg WOah! Not bad ah... still got their own website! LOL... All the while i also thought that Indochine is a pub even this afternoon when i check the website, i still thought is a pub though i remember clearly that time when i went for the interview, it looks like a restaurant... My thinking change when i went for work today... By the way, there are other outlets in Malaysia and Germany too! *During workSuppose to start work at 5pm but i kiasu -_-", but i reach there about 4.30pm... Later there was this part time malay girl who have worked there more than 2 and a half years bring mi around and explore... Later she pointed to mi the boss who was seated in the bar! So heng ah... first day already see the big boss.... Then later the supervisor pass mi the uniform... The uniform hor... Top is either too big or the bottom is too small.... *FAint... So in the end he pass mi another type of uniform... Anyway this place here is similar as Marche where the service staff is full of multinational people... The kitchen staff are ALL Thais... The service staff consist of Chinese, Malay, Indian, Mynamar, Nepal, Vietnam, Angmoh also have sia! Looking forward to seee this Ang Moh... Hehe... So when the supervisor was guiding mi.. Also duno y i keep on sy yayaya... And that become my nickname after that -_-"... Not only the supervisor know but also the whole restaurant! DIao~~~
Anyway today sales got $36K and is full house!! Guess wat! At this restaurant, not only Friday and Saturday will be busy wor.... Everyday will be busy man and Friday, Saturday will even be more worse! The difference between here and Marche is that the people who patronise Indochine are those who are willing to spend $$ unlike those other restaurants that you see at shopping centres where a little bit they also complain expensive one... And people here come in pax... Not less than 10 pax but they come in more than 20 and even 50! Today got 2 big reservations lor... One 23 one 65! SIaoooo....
Oh ya!! Today hor... break alot of things! LOL... Broke a wine glass, a cocktail glass and 3 plates! Power right? LOL... Not my fault, 2 of the times is people knock into mi one de ok? Hahaha...
*After workWork here passes then fast man... By the next time i see the watch is already 9.30pm and the next time is at 11.30pm liao... Very very fast... Oh ya, the last order here is at 11.30pm during the weekdays and 12.30 during the weekends... And about 11pm, i realise that there are actually supper for the staff after work! Hehe... not bad ah! Tonight was Nasi Lemak... Not bad the cooking sia... Taste delicious! The rice, the chicken wings and the chilli! Yummy yummy =)... Hehehe... So the standard time when we clock out is 1.30am and the transport will come at 1.45am... DIao~~ believe at this time, everyone is alsleep liao ba? Anyway you all can see the time when i blog this, is already 3 plus midnight!!
Overall, this place is quite fun man! The people here also quite nice... Can talk together with one de... And the most idiotic thing is thay they like to disturb mi that i like to say yayaya! Oh my God! IS only when i reach here than i start saying yayaya one de... Haiyoh But the people here really very friendly... And the time here passes very fast also... At least i know that here is better than Billy Bombers... Hehe
