**__mY joB eXperIence for past my life__**
Called Sms Indochine today that i will be able to start work next week and they immediately asked mi to work next Wed at 5pm! The funny thing is the person who i msged for the past few days i duno who is he... Hahaha... Quite excited to try a new environment and think shall be nice ba? Is just beside the Singapore River! So not bad la... Got good scenery to appreciate everyday... I shall resign from Billy Bombers tomorrow and Sunday shall be my last day at that place! Hehe.. Actually at that time, i was like working at Billy Bombers for fun till Indochine called mi... And i wait and wait and wait... After 1 month, Indochine finally called mi to work! Haiyoh... So long one de! If not, i have resigned Billy Bombers long ago liao lor... Anyway this Indochine is already my fifth F'n'B job le!! Hahaha... anyway think back my lifetime so far, this is my duno how many job le! Hehe...
You say indoor one also have, outdoor also have, as long is alot alot lah! These are the jobs i done so far!
1) Admin at the office my mother is working at (TFS)
(Dun play play! This is my first job and is was when i am 9 or 10 years old lor! Job is simple, just remove the staplets arrange according to alphabetical order, and sometimes draw tables in the accounts book! That time, computer is not used... Pay okay lar.. $4 per hour! Not bad already hor for a primary school student! Hahaha.. Work there about 3 months...)
2) Selling Christmas cards
(Hmm... this is my second job during my sec 2 vacation... this is a free and easy job lah... you can sell the cards anytime you wan lor... and after u sell finish le then you go back take some more stock... Terrible job as is commission-based! No basic! Didn't earn alot la... Period: 2 weeks)
3) Outdoor Surveyor
(Duno this is after the how many jobs i done le... Already lose count... Anyway this job is another terrible one! Based on each survey and one survey 50 cents! Done about 3 surveys only ba? Hahaha... So take $$ also paisei... Period: 5 hours)
4) Telesurveyor
(say outdoor surveyor also have, telesurveyor also have! This job not as jialat as the outdoor one... Still remember this job is during my one month holiday after my first year in uni life... Period: 3 weeks)
5) Telemarketor
(Another terrible job.... As long is Commision-based one de is all terrible jobs! LOL... So this job you will flip through the Yellow Pages then random call lor... Hahaa... this one is sell Children books one de... So bo liao... Don't even know whats the content of the book how you expect people to buy????!! Don't remember earning a single cent there... Hahaha... Period: 2days)
6) Sales
(I got 2 experience for sales line... Shall say one by one in point form)
6.1 Retail
(Worked with Monica for the whole period of this job... This job is actually recommended by Erin, which the business is actually her boyfren's father one la then i got it one de.... Is for a carnival?? at Sim Lim Square.. Not bad the pay i would say... $50 for 10 hours like that for one day... Then funny i would say, cause from the first day we sell mainly clothes only, then later come in lighters, baby dolls, helicopter models, dynamo torchlight, and also TOOTHBRUSH! Lol... i quite this job one de... Quite simple and quite free and easy and near my house!! Period:9 days.. i would like to work longer one de but the fair ended le :-( )
6.2 Direct Sales
(This job say fun is fun la... Everyday when we report for work, we will have this meeting where more than 35 people gather and talk about their goals for the month... Quite fun working with many people BUT again terrible job as is commissioned-based! See some people wearing very smart then holding a big bag one their hand, trying to approach people? They are actually trying to sell some things lor... Hahaha... And i am one of them before!I quite enjoyed this job one de la but no $$... Really no $$ one de!! Cause no sales... Period: 1 month)
7) Factory Operator
(Work at Motorola as a factory operator doing Model Assembly... So if you are holding a Motorola handphone, that phone is might i do one lor!! Haha... this is the second job that i worked the longest after Marche... I also quite like this job as is not as i thought how a factory job operates! The place i worked is like an office and can sit somemore one de lor... And got music also and can talk to your colleagues while you working at the same time... And if you think that factory job is infested with aunties only then you are wrong! Many teenagers there too... In fact, there are more than 3 persons in my faculty year who worked at Motorola! Pay very good in fact the best so far... I earned 2K in a month before over there and the job there quite say nang i would say.. LOL... Period:6 months)
8) Librarian
(Worked as a librarian at NUS Central Library... Easy $$, paying $6 per hour, job quite easy too but very SIANzzzzzzz! Cannot talk.... think can only talk to the books! Lol... Luckily worked with my fren though we are always separated.. Period: 3months)
9) Flyers Distributer
(This job sux! Distribute 4000 pamphlets for $18! Crazy!! Somemore is you insert to letter boxes one de and many of the letter boxes are locked one de lor! But actually i managed to earn $18 x3 with more than 3000 pamphlets at my house now... Hahaha... Period: think got 1 month ba...)
10) Outdoor Market Researcher
(Eh... worked for The Green Book before also.... Hahaha... this Job is assign you to check whether the current details they have about the offices is still accurate anot... If not then you will have to change it and you be paid 10 cents for every office unit you check and 20 cents if you get the name card for a new unit there... Terrible pay also not but not terrible job i would say... Period: 1month) 11) Food and Beverage
(Worked as 4 waitress job liao... Say thai one also have, japanese one also have, ang mo also have, German-swiss one also have and Another 1 coming up next week... Haha) 11.1 A-Roy Thai Restaurant
(My first Waitress job... Pay the lowest so far among the five waitress jobs i have so far! $4.50 only... Worked together with my fren... Place there quite small la.. like family business only... Anyway the owner is really a Thai... Period: 3 months)
11.2 Chikuyotei
(OOps... duno right spelling anot... Hahaha... anyway this place is terrible! Manager is hyprocrite, the full time staff there then haolian lor... I almost forgotten i worked there before cause is insignificant! Pay rather good $5.50 la... Period: 5 days only!!Haha)
11.3 Marche
(My favourite job so far lor!! Worked there the longest... As i say, many memorable memories there.. Shall be kept in my heart forever.. Period: 8 1/2 months)
11.4 Billy Bombers
(This place ah... everything is ok... except of one supervisor only la.. One thing cannot except is that they only pay $5... Quite low lor for a restaurant at Orchard... Period: 3 weeks)
11.5 Indochine
(??)
Dunno got short of any jobs anot?? But anyway as you can see... don't play play ah!! All woks of life i also got try one ok? See who can beat mi in the munber of jobs they done! LOL... Anyway those strike one are really those that i would not wan to try again! That doesnt mean that i hate the job ah, is that really cant earn $$ one de!!
*1 day after the post....... See! I really forget there is another job i have done before and is that to teach TUITION! Think this job is the worse so far that i have forgotten!Had 2 terrible experiences before which will never let mi step into this field though the pay is high and the working hours are very flexible... One is that the student almost let mi puke blood(luckily only one lesson and i was paid about $17? for 2 hours like that), Another is that my money kana cheated by the agency!! It happened like that... the student tutor suddenly disappear so they decide to employ another tutor, then later i realised that is only 2 weeks to her exams only and then the agency pattern is take the first 2 weeks of the pay and then later is all yours... however i only teach for 2 weeks so all my pay went to agency! Kaoz!! Cheated! So from then onwards i swear i will never teach tuition anymore...
*One week after the post... Alamak!! How can i forget this important job! I worked at Happiness Cafeteria before too!! Hahaha... this cafeteria belonged to my mother one de... Really miss the cafeteria.... Is situated at Cuppage Plaza... At here, i can eat whatever i wan! From western food, economical rice, Zhi cha(Hor fun, mui fan all those...), spring onion rice, black pepper rice,sweet and sour rice and there is also the daily special which might have laksa, lor mee and our speciality Yu chi (Is actually a mixture of tong fen and crab meat) Really miss the food there!! So this job we actually do catering meaning people order their food and we will send to their doorsteps... Of course is around Orchard la! (The furthest was as far as Park Mall and Pacific Plaza....) And the best thing is that i can get $20 per night! Alot liao lor... Actually the $$ is self service one de la!! LOL... Anyway work there about 2 years liao ok? SO my total F&B experience got 3 years liao lor! NOt bad ah... :P
